First Celebration of Culture and Art Think Tank held

Iranian superstar Shahab Hosseini has hosted the first Celebration of the Short Film of the Culture and Art Independent Think Tank.

The first edition of the event was held in Tehran on July 18, having Hosseini as the secretary of the celebration.

The event aims to promote the works by independent filmmakers and to be the voice of artists who have no place to demonstrate their art.

A number of cinema figures and officials including Saeed Rad, Akbar Zanjanpour, Kianoush Ayyari, Mahmoud Kalari and Bahram Dehghani took part in the ceremony.

In the main part of the event, winners of various sections including Best Editing, Best Documentary, Best Technical Achievement, Best Cinematography, Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Script, Best Directing and Best Film were announced.
